A beautiful summer evening back home with my mum on the balcony having cake and berries while she’s doing her nails, surrounded by sunflowers and pink geraniums, watching the sun go down.

I grew up there in this house and I could sit there for hours, listening to the birds and the chirping crockets in the nearby fields, having some tea with my mum. She might do some crossword puzzle, and when the sun is set we’d light up some candles and she’d bring some blankets to keep our knees warm. It’s not so much about where it is, but who is with you – and those little things they do that you know inside out – that makes you feel like home.
